The Better Future Award just publish the 2022 Award list, JATO design Hong Kong, as Pivot’s Global Partner, has won the silver award in the category of Hospitality Interior Design, with their recently finished project: Fortune Metropolis Foodcourt, Hongkong.

The food court is located inside the metropolis mall, next to the Hung Hom MTR Station.Design area is around 2,000 SQM, serving people from residential towers above and the neighborhood.

Inside the food court, the 36-meter wall adopts wood grains, and automatic adjustment of lighting is used to make the whole environment comfortable and warm. The warm cozy and friendly beige color mixes interior with wood finishes, colliding with lake blue-green and pleasant yellow-orange color. Different types of seating make those spaces more interesting and vivid, making varieties of space for diners.

inoc^®Wall and iceiling^® product inside the project

The variety of wood grain advertised by Pivot inoc^® allowed the designer to re-present the effects he wanted, the final choice was inoc^® light oak seriers, it’s warm tone will fully saitisfy the final concept. The same wood grain was also used for the beskope iceiling^® to get a unity looking.

Bespoke iceiling^®

Pivot’s Coveni^® fast installation system greatly shortens the construction period of wall cladding. Another challange came from the ceiling, bespoke shape of the ceiling parts is unique and complicated, which requires a certain production accuracy,to garantee assemleling tolerance because the ceiling was seperated apart during transportation.
