The Marrisle Boutique Leisure Resort is an 80,000 square metre, 5-star luxury hotel located in Jiangyin, 160 kilometres from the Shanghai city centre. HBAarchitecture borrowed inspiration from the client’s extensive collection of thoroughbred horses and passion for dressage performance to create the site planning and architecture. The movement and form of the horse are indeed woven throughout all aspects of the design, from the gestural building massing to bespoke façade screens in copper.

The resort boasts 240 oversized Guestrooms and extensive banquet & meeting facilities. The Grand Dome housing the 2,300 square metres Ballroom lies on the central axis with the hotel main entrance and becomes the primary focal point of the resort. The public areas and guestrooms wrapping the Grand Dome balance the modern form with timeless and contemporary architectural expression.

The Grand Dome’s façade is completed by Pivot hyperbolical surface materials, which is a milestone in our fabrication history.
